Okay, we're hot for the flowers again, and we've been thinking about birthday cakes since our friend, Cyndy, commissioned a birthday donut from us. Birthday cake is fun--moist birthday cake rules (not necessarily with ice cream, but that's another blog), but it's hard not to love those flowers. They're just sort of odd. Kinda quirky, a little weird, familiar, unfamiliar, almost addictive. More flower/cake variations on the way. Stay tuned.
